I took some time today to figure out where my memories from Lj were. Looked each one up, and then found it here, and marked it for memories. Now to just figure out how to make this journal friends only... Its Friends only in Lj land, but not here, perhaps I won't be able to do that here since I am still cross posting to Lj. We'll see, if anyone can lend some info that would be great.

Locked entries by default: Go to the Privacy settings in Account Settings, and set the "Minimum Entry Security" dropdown to "Access List."

When it says Access list, what does that mean? am I do set up a list of who can see it or is it just those I have given access to my journal?

That's everyone you've given access to your journal.

"Friends" is split into two parts: people you subscribe to, and see on your "Read" page, and people you give access to, and can see your locked posts.

If someone subscribes to you, they see your posts on their read list, all your public posts and locked posts at whatever level of access you've granted them; if someone gives you access, you see their locked posts.
